    Martha Trachtenberg & Tom Griffith will be the featured performer at the NorthShore Original Open Mic (NOOM) on Wednesday, April 1. Co-presented by the Cinema Arts Centre and the Folk Music Society of Huntington in the Cinema’s Sky Room (423 Park Avenue, Huntington), the open mic runs from 7-9:30 p.m., with a featured artist performing a 30-minute set beginning around 8:30 p.m.  Sign-up starts at 6:30 p.m.  Although NOOM is free to attend, donations will be gratefully accepted.  The event will also be livestreamed via the Northshore Original Open Mic Facebook group.

  • FMSH Folk Jam & Sing-Along

    The Folk Music Society of Huntington’s monthly Folk Jam & Sing-Along will take place on April 12 at the South Huntington Public Library (145 Pidgeon Hill Road, Huntington Station) from 1-4 p.m.  This free Sunday afternoon event affords musicians and singers of all experience levels an opportunity to play, sing, and hone their performance skills in a supportive and welcoming environment.
