NorthShore Original Open Mic (NOOM) in the Sky Room at Huntington’s Cinema Arts Centre
Chuck Silverstein and his Fertile Imagination will be the featured performer at the NorthShore Original Open Mic (NOOM) on Wednesday, December 11. Co-presented by the Cinema Arts Centre and the Folk Music Society of Huntington in the Cinema’s Sky Room (423 Park Avenue, Huntington), the open mic runs from 7-10 p.m., with a featured artist performing a 30-minute set beginning around 8:30 p.m. Sign-up starts at 6:30 p.m. Although NOOM is free to attend, donations will be gratefully accepted. The event will also be livestreamed via the Northshore Original Open Mic Facebook group.

Brooklyn-based singer-songwriters Carolann Solebello and Allie Chip will share the stage and swap songs during the monthly Hard Luck Café concert series co-presented by the Folk Music Society of Huntington and the Cinema Arts Centre (423 Park Avenue, Huntington) in the Cinema’s Sky Room on Wednesday, December 18, from 7pm-10pm. An open mic, for which sign-up is at 6:30pm, precedes the concert. Lonesome Traveler, a narrative musical about legendary folk groups The Weavers and Almanac Singers featuring Ira Perlman and Denise Romas, will be presented at the monthly Hard Luck Café concert series co-presented by the Folk Music Society of Huntington and the Cinema Arts Centre (423 Park Avenue, Huntington) in the Cinema’s Sky Room on Wednesday, January 15, from 7pm-10pm.
