Hard Luck Café: Jesse Terry

Award-winning Connecticut-based singer-songwriter Jesse Terry will showcase his talents during the monthly Hard Luck Café concert series co-presented by the Folk Music Society of Huntington and the Cinema Arts Centre (423 Park Avenue, Huntington) on Wednesday, May 21, from 7-10 p.m. An open mic, for which sign-up starts at 6:30 p.m., precedes the 8 p.m. concert. Tickets are $25 ($20 for Cinema Arts Centre/FMSH members) and may be purchased online at cinemaartscentre.org or at the box office through the evening of the show.

NorthShore Original Open Mic (NOOM) in the Sky Room at Huntington’s Cinema Arts Centre

Jerry Silverstein will be the featured performer at the NorthShore Original Open Mic (NOOM) on Wednesday, May 28. Co-presented by the Cinema Arts Centre and the Folk Music Society of Huntington in the Cinema’s Sky Room (423 Park Avenue, Huntington), the open mic runs from 7-10 p.m., with a featured artist performing a 30-minute set beginning around 8:30 p.m.  Sign-up starts at 6:30 p.m.  Although NOOM is free to attend, donations will be gratefully accepted.  The event will also be livestreamed via the Northshore Original Open Mic Facebook group.

Special Event: NOOM 12th Anniversary Celebration in the Sky Room at Huntington’s Cinema Arts Centre

The NorthShore Original Open Mic (NOOM) will celebrate its 12th Anniversary on Wednesday, June 4, from 6:30pm-10pm (doors 6pm) in the Cinema Arts Centre (423 Park Avenue, Huntington) Sky Room.  This special event will feature a number of solo & duo guest performers (TBA); additionally performing will be the The Toby Tobias Ensemble. Please note that the regular NOOM open mic format will not be held this evening. NOOM is co-presented by the Cinema Arts Centre and the Folk Music Society of Huntington.
