Hard Luck Café: Tracy Walton -and- Sierra West

Connecticut-based singer-songwriters Tracy Walton and Sierra West, both of whom showcased their talents during the recent Black Bear Americana Music Festival, will share the bill during the monthly Hard Luck Café series co-presented by the Folk Music Society of Huntington and the Cinema Arts Centre (423 Park Avenue, Huntington) in the Cinema’s Sky Room on Wednesday, February 15, from 7-10 p.m. An open mic precedes the concert.
Tickets are $20 ($15 for Cinema Arts Centre/FMSH members) and can be purchased online at http://cinemaartscentre.org or at the Cinema Arts Centre box office now through the evening of the event.
Tracy Walton
Tracy Walton (https://tracywaltonmusic.com/) wears many musical hats: singer-songwriter, bassist, producer, author, and studio owner. He has toured the country with various groups including, most recently, the duo Belle of the Fall; has played bass with David Bromberg and Vernon Reid, among others; produces albums for artists at his studio, On Deck Sound Studio, in Northfield, CT; and has written books for Alfred Music. Tracy’s fourth solo album, Small Town America, was released in the summer of 2021.

Sierra West (https://www.sierrawestmusic.com/) is a Connecticut-born-and-raised singer/songwriter, an animal lover, and an addiction treatment supporter. She has the rare knack of composing simple, unforgettable melodies and marrying them to intelligent lyrics. Sierra’s passion for music and message of truth, compassion, and spiritual growth make her a force to be reckoned with.
