To celebrate the Holiday season, our favorite legendary guitarist and singer-songwriter, Bob Westcott, brought his annual revue of talented performers to Huntington. He treated us with a couple of well roasted chestnuts, and then presented his showcase of three of the most talented and exciting performers in the Huntington area.

This years' lineup featured:

TIM DILLON Tim began performing back in the early 70s with the acoustic rock band Full Circle. He began writing songs and was influenced by the music of Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and CSNY (Crosby Stills Nash & Young). He was also very inspired by some of the local artists who were performing on Long Island at that time. He writes about the people, places and life experiences he has encountered along the way always leaving a little room for hope in his songs.

CATHY KREGER Armed with only an acoustic guitar and a voice as clear as cool water, Cathy Kreger delivers more pure music per minute than a bevy of roadhouse rockers. Cathy's folk, rock, blues, and pop influences meld into a lyrical and melodic style that is as passionate as it is polished. Her new CD Pure Imagination explores a jazzy journey into folk and pop in an experimental new direction for Cathy.

DEE HARRIS Truly defined as a world musician, Dee Harris is a guitarist and multi-stringed instrumentalist of western music and Indian classical music. Celtic has always fascinated Dee, and he is well-known as an interpreter of early Renaissance music. A Blues guitar player for most of his life, Dee had the opportunity at an early age to study slide guitar and open tunings with Honest Tom Pomposello. His most recent release is Luke's Dream, a CD of original banjo instrumentals.

This evening was a big treat and give all a merry beginning to the holiday season!

If you weren't here tonight, you missed yet another of the very best programs of the year ...
