RON RENNINGER

Singer-songwriter Ron Renninger is known to audiences on Long Island and in New York City: — indeed, Christine Lavin enjoys his performances so much that she has asked him to open for her at such prestigious venues as the Bottom Line in Manhattan and IMAC on Long Island. Ron's haunting voice beautifully traces the melodies he sings, and he has a strong fingerstyle on the guitar.

He is an extremely prolific songwriter, - he has released an album every year since 1996 and is currently working on his fifth.

The HARD LUCK CAFÉ was proud to present Ron in his second featured performance on our stage!

NICOLE McKENNA

Nicole McKenna has it all: a lovely face, a stunningly beautiful voice, winning personality and to top it off, her dad is her percussionist. Nicole is also a songwriter who can catch your heart as well as your ear with her intelligent lyrics. She will be familiar to those who saw her perform at Long Island open mics as a singer with a country-pure voice. Since her move to Manhattan, Nicole has transformed her simple style to one which can be described as "alternative folk", — widening her boundaries while showcasing her exquisite voice. She has a self-released, self-titled album which no self-respecting music fan should be without.

We were delighted to present her in her Hard Luck debut.
