RICK FRANZONE & RICH VENTURA

This Long Island duo has recently been making a splash on the local scene, bringing their strong guitar-based performances to area bookstores, cafés and pubs. When you hear them, it is clear that they have been honing their distinctive style for quite a while. Rich and Rick have known each other for years and performed regularly until the early 90s. They recently decided to return to the stage, playing a mix of carefully selected cover tunes and thoughtful originals, bouyantly supported by their trademark 6- and 12-string guitar sound.

We welcome their return to the public eye on our stage!

RON GREITZER

From the time he was eight and first picked up his father's beat-up arch-top Harmony guitar "with action so high you needed two hands, a foot, a crowbar and perhaps a friend to play it", Ron Greitzer has had a minor obsession with the guitar. A veteran of countless performances and open mics in clubs, churches and cafés, Ron is a cover artist's cover artist. His nimble finger-picking style and love of open tunings enable him to masterfully recreate the work of modern greats such as Richard Shindell, David Wilcox, Cheryl Wheeler and Jackson Browne.

We are proud to present his Long Island debut!
