CHASING JUNE

CHASING JUNE

Chasing June is a New Jersey-based indie folk collaboration of singers and songwriters Judy Aron and Steve Coleman. Their co-written, harmony-filled songs and spirited up-tempo live performances have been earning the duo spots on radio and in venues throughout the northeast during the two short years Chasing June has been together.

Career highlights to date include being selected to perform in the Suzi Wollenberg Folk DJ Showcase at the 2010 Northeast Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA) Conference in Kerhonkson, NY and performing unplugged in an afternoon Acoustic Live! showcase during last summer’s Huntington Folk Festival at Heckscher Park.

Their debut album is Under Slate Grey Sky.

CALEB HAWLEY

Caleb Hawley is a 2011 American Idol Top-50 finalist and winner of the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival Songwriter Showcase. He combines his own intricate lyrics and fast-paced guitar licks with musical inspirations ranging from the soothing folk sounds of James Taylor to the powerhouse soul of Stevie Wonder to create an eclectic program that showcases both his vocal capacity and his engaging personality. Influenced by the observational songwriting styles of Randy Newman and Tom Waits, Hawley’s songs are thoughtful, often humorous, and imbued with the unique energy that makes his live performances so much fun.

Hawley, a graduate of the Berklee School of Music, has written and produced three albums including his latest: We All Got Problems. He recently performed in France and Switzerland, and has toured the United States extensively.
